Welcome to my portfolio website. Just a little background about me.

I am a Front-End Developer and UX/UI Designer with over 12 years of experience creating user-centered digital experiences across EdTech companies, nonprofit organizations, and digital marketing agencies. My background spans web design, front-end development, digital communications, and project management, allowing me to bridge the gap between design, functionality, and strategy.

Over the past several years, I have worked as a Front-End Developer / UX Developer and Digital Media Specialist, building, maintaining, and optimizing websites with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and performance. I have extensive experience managing web projects from concept through launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining multiple WordPress sites while also developing new ones from the ground up.

In addition to development and design, I have hands-on experience in digital communications, including email marketing, SEO, analytics, and social media strategy. I use data-driven insights to improve user engagement, conversion rates, and overall site performance.

I enjoy working across a variety of platforms and tools, including Webflow, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Sitecore, Umbraco, Bootstrap, and the full Adobe Creative Suite—Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and more. My technical foundation is supported by formal training in Web Design, Graphic Design & Desktop Publishing, and C# Programming.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling, which strongly informs my approach to UX/UI design. Understanding human behavior, motivation, and decision-making allows me to design thoughtful, intuitive digital experiences that resonate with users.

Outside of my professional work, I am an active photographer, shooting for NASCAR and NHRA drivers, regional speedways, tennis players, and contributing to online publications. This creative work continually influences my design perspective and visual storytelling skills.

Welcome to my portfolio website. Just a little background - I have over 12 years experience in web design, web development, graphic design, photography, social media and videography. I earned my certificates in Web Design, Graphics & Desktop Publishing, and C# Programming. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling.

For the past 9 years, I have worked as a Web Developer / UX Front-End Developer and Digital Media Specialist at a Digital Marketing Agency. I also worked as a Digital Communications Coordinator at a non-profit organization in Chicago. I was responsible for maintaining 5 WordPress websites and creating 2 new WordPress sites.

In my spare time, I shoot photography for the Nascar Drivers, NHRA Drivers, Chicagoland Speedway, Grundy Speedway - Mid-Am Racing Series, Tennis Players, and I'm a contributor to the Oak Lawn Patch Online Newspapers.

I really enjoy working with Webflow, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Sitecore, Bootstrap and also with all the Adobe Software - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Premiere Pro.
